Season 1 of our Radio Show called "A Voice for the Voiceless", in collaboration with Radio Active CR 90.4 gathered over 2 lac viewers per episode. We placed advertisements on buses that move across Delhi NCR with the message of Veganism and Compassion towards animals used in animal agriculture, specifically dairy and poultry animals. The buses act as a moving bill-board which spreads the message to thousands.
Our Wall Painting Drives in Bangalore were a medium of community building by bringing together volunteers from various educational institutions and walks of life, along with spreading the message of Animal Rights and Compassion to all the viewers.
As part of our community advocacy initiatives, we ventured out into Carrots, Bangalore- a Vegan Restaurant, to explain the benefits of a Vegan lifestyle to the customers. Many of the customers are not Vegan, hence, the outreach makes a huge impact considering that they are already eating deicious vegan food at the restaurant, which dismisses several myths about vegan food.
We have organised multiple youth outreach events at significant youth events and gatherings such as the Under25, India's largest youth festival, visited by thousands of young people. The outreach events focus on sensitizing the youth on animal rights and veganism, and talking to them about living a more conscious and compassionate lifestyle.
Our #rednotwhite campaign was a virtual campaign that was conducted throughout the month of June 2020 (international dairy month), to showcase the abuse and cruelties of the dairy animals along with the huge ecological footprint of the industry. #dairyisuddernonsense
The Voiceless India Compassion and cleanliness Drive was organized in Jayanagar (near Lal Bagh), Bengaluru on 26th January 2020 which is also India's 71st Republic Day. The day signified the freedom and independence that the country has received, yet, there is a community that remains under the oppression of human beings- the non human animals.
Volunteers from all across the city of Bengaluru joined hands to clean two areas that were loaded with garbage and paint a wall with different images of animals who face systemic oppression in the hands of human beings namely- cows, hens, elephants, rabbits and dogs.
Alongside the painting drive, Voiceless India also managed to organize a cleanliness drive in collaboration with Let's be the Change and the BBMP to clean two spots in Jayanagar which were mercilessly dirty with garbage.
